In case of emergency it very good you know how to treat an
infected cut at home without going to see the doctor. Not that going to see the
doctor is a bad ideal but there might be situations that might warrant you not
going to the hospital,. It could be the distance from your house to the health
care center or it could that you don’t have enough money for the treatment,

There are different ways you can treat such cut, first you
have to soak the infected cut with warm water in which salt is added on the
warm water, the function of the salt is to disinfect or destroy any form of
infection that must have been on the cut, after that an antibiotic ointment
should be applied this should be done for some days also the wound should be
loosely bandaged. Within 3 to 4 days there should be better improvement, if not
quickly see a doctor.
Another method is the use of iodine solution on the wound
this should be applied on the surface of the cut after cleaning it up first and
should be left in it this will destroy all forms of bacteria’s and germs on the
wound as well as dry it up.
