What causes my nails to turn yellow and how can I get rid of
the yellow stains?
In looking at what might be the cause for the yellow stains
on your nail and ways to get rid of it. First its vital to establish the fact
that such yellow stain isn’t a fungus infection because there are some cases
where by an individual having a nail infection which turns the nail to
yellowish color such person might be thinking it is cause by the nail polish
she is using.
Aside that, nail polish is predominantly the major cause of
yellow color on nail. Now for polish with very dark colure using it on the nail
this reacts with other nail elements thus turning into a yellow colure. You
don’t get this kind of a colure the moment you apply the polish, it takes time
for this to occur in fact it is a chemical reaction that takes place within two
to three weeks of applying the nail polish.
To stop such reaction or prevent the yellowish colure from
appearing, prior to the usage of the main polish you have to first paint the
nail with a base colure nail polish as this has the ability of nullifying the
effect of the reaction as well as preserving and extending the life span of the
polish on the nail.
For nail already stain with the yellow colure, to get it off
your nails, get a lemon juice, squash into a solution with water half full of tea cup and the affected
nails should be soak in the solution for about 20 minutes this should be done once in a week until the
stain fades off.
