Can I take terbinafine and itraconazole together for nail fungus infection?
Taken terbinafine and itraconazole together just to get rid of nail or toe nail fungus infection, first I have this to say, it is vital you get directive from your physical or a medical expert before embarking on taking drugs, this is so as to prevent any kind side effect that may occur at the latter end.

Both terbinafine and itraconazole are both effective in treating fungal infection be it nail or any fungal diseases they have same working mechanism that is, both have the capacity of wiping out the infection, but there is a slight difference with the two drugs.

In terms of side effect itraconazole is safer to use because it has less side effect also it is very cheap to purchase. Itraconazole this is one of the new drug in the class of “azole” which is very active in treatingfungal infection, especially toenail fungus, that does not mean it is better than  terbinafine.

Thus from my own opinion since both drugs perform the same function it will be advisable you stick to just one of them  specifically Itraconazole, owing to the fact that too much of such drugs can be harmful to the body system, that is the more reason you need doctors prescription before taking any of this drugs also should in case you notice any form of side effects such as body itching, lost of appetite, pale face, nauseous, sickening, dark urine make sure you immediately see your doctor for proper examination
